Charlotte Gainsbourg - Songs That We Sing

Charlotte Gainsbourg's (daughter of legendary french singer/songwriter Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin) new album 5:55 was co-written by Jarvis Cocker (Pulp) and Neil Hannon (The Divine Comedy) for the lyrics and Air for the music and produced by Nigel Godrich (producer of Radiohead). That's some nice people gathered here and the resulting mix is working quite well with Charlotte's personality and voice.

Beautiful music. I also enjoyed Noir Désir. I appreciate, too, the presentation of Bill Clinton and Vaclav Havel.

Wonderful blog that you have here.

Thank you Tony.

Hi Hervé! Fancy seeing you here. We seem to like the same blogs. :)

I check Tony's blog for new posts everyday now. I enjoy his interest in science, music and politics.

Salut Herve, tu arrives pile poil a Montreal pour les grandes chaleurs ;-) Que vas tu faire la-bas?

>Jo Ann
Hey Jo Ann, hope you had a nice thanksgiving! A bit slow on the posts this week after thanksgiving, ate too much, drunk too much... going for a run in Central Park to get rid of all the bad toxins I ingested last night ;-)

She'll never make it in Ahmareeeeka. We like our women with big boobs and little talent. Alas for Charlotte.

Yeah she might have inherited this feature from her mother (who's always joking about them)... and inherited (hopefully a lot) of her father's other talents
